The pressures and pace of modern day life often means many of us live in a state of survival mode, in a place of fight or flight, our mind and body pulling in opposite directions with no understanding of why we find ourselves repeating the same patterns over and over and unable to change how we feel. We all face challenges throughout our lives both good and bad, but it is these experiences that can begin to shape our sense of self and the beliefs we hold about who we are.

At Alignment Wellbeing you can begin to gain both insight and understanding of the beliefs and patterns that are coming up for you as repeated behaviour or feeling a certain way about something in your life while learning on a deeper level how to release what no longer serves you and regulate your nervous system.

Through compassionate guidance and holistic support that honours the mind and the body’s felt experience, you will discover it is possible to move your life forwards with greater clarity, confidence, self-awareness, towards a stronger sense of self.

Sessions at Alignment Wellbeing embrace a Holistic centred approach, acknowledging not just the cognitive aspects of how we feel ‘our thoughts’ but also where we feel it. The body and mind are continually communicating in a continuous two way interaction and this is why our unprocessed emotions and physical symptoms are the byproduct of our mental state of mind. The effects of stress on the body are well documented. Just as thoughts and emotions can influence physiology so our physiology can affect how we feel.

Every session is sensitively tailored to approach your individual needs, working at your pace and combining a range of trusted therapeutic approaches to help you gain a better understanding of yourself and feel better.

You will begin with a 1:1 Discovery Call — a relaxed and supportive opportunity to ask questions, explore your needs, and see whether this space feels like the right fit for you and your journey. Ongoing appointments are then bookable as one hour sessions via an online video link or by Telephone.

Each session will enable you to work towards your personal therapy goals step by step at your pace with sessions paced to suit your lifestyle.
